In full honesty, this has been a hard week. I won’t go into all the details of it, but it’s a lot easier to bid this week farewell then to remember it. Still, there were tiny joys to be found. So here are the good things, the things I loved about this week:
Making Balm of Gilead with my oldest son this afternoon. In honor of this bright spot of our week, I will give away one of these to one lucky reader. All you need to do is comment here & stay tuned for give away update by next Friday. I’ll choose one winner at random 🙂
Balm of Gilead is a great addition to a first aid kit for its anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. But also, it kind of smells like being on a river on a sweet, sunny day when the world seems at peace and you can see the light through the trees and smell them in the air. I wildcrafted the buds last Speing from downed branches after a storm. In the future, I’ll sell it in my Etsy shop.
Making & eating too much fresh salsa using tomatoes I grew in the garden.
My oldest son’s first soccer practice was one of the best nights I’ve had as a parent. Just such an adorable, fun, heart opening, dreamy lighted evening.
And getting the news that my Yoga of Creativity workshop is a go this weekend. More on that soon.
How was your week? What did you love?
